UNIQLO Opens its Antwerp Store on 2 October

Exciting promotions and gifts on the opening weekend - Including Sunday Shopping!

October 1, 2015, Antwerp, Belgium - UNIQLO today announces the opening of its Antwerp store on 2 October, at Meir 67-69, its first location in the Benelux. The store offers approximately 1320 square meters of sales floor and features LifeWear apparel for men, women and children. The global retailer from Japan celebrates its arrival in Belgium with special offers, opening gifts and an animated opening ceremony.

Store Specifics
With a total sales floor of approximately 1320 square meters over two levels and a mezzanine, it will be a large-scale UNIQLO store featuring men’s, women’s, and kids’ clothing. Apart from the 2015 Fall/Winter LifeWear collection, the customer will also find collaboration items with apparel brand Lemaire, led by Christophe Lemaire and Sarah-Linh Tran.

Located on the Meir, one of the most visited shopping streets in Belgium, the store’s entrance creates an open, welcoming facade. The window decoration for the opening is a creation of the Antwerp florist and entrepreneur Mark Colle, who features as an UNIQLO ambassador in the people campaign.

A distinctive interior creates a truly unique shopping experience. The Antwerp store will feature vertical color blocking on perimeter walls and high-tech installations, including color-changing stairs, LED tickers, and rotating mannequins. As an authentic Japanese brand, UNIQLO highly values customer service and will offer for example a Same Day Alteration Service on all bottoms, free of charge.
